The show was ok but I was more interested in the cars and how they were built and wondering if it would be fun building and maintaining the cars.
Here is some photos I found of the crazy cars.
And crap I know about them.
Opel Corsa bodies.
RWD rear mounted motors
1 gallon fuel cell.
1300cc motorcycle motors 4 forward 4 reverse speeds with bump shifting and turn brake that engages when released. wikipedia says 150hp and 1322 pounds.
I would like to build something similar but with a festiva body and make it street legal for some hooning about legally of course.
Why dont they use herbie? Lightning mcqueen sucks!

If you put on a handbrake, turn signals, and reverse lights then it's legal in South Carolina!

you line up and exit past their repair shop, which I too thought was the best part. thing I noticed, disney is on their transmissions.

I saw those and thought they were difs or something -it was a real fast walk past. I didnt notie the disney on them! I wonder if they are custom or just fake. I wanted to just stand there for 10 minutes and look at everything and try to see the cars and how they are put together and the parts and stuff, but I was with people who dont care for such things.

I assume custom, and from the ones on the bench further back actually getting put together I believe it was cast into all of them.
